Job Description


Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, the HRIS Analyst leads the design, development, and maintenance of the Human Resources Information Systems (UltiPro) and all interfacing Human Resources systems. Designs modules, ad hoc reports, tables or extracts as appropriate. Acts as a technical resource to the Human Resource Department and serves as liaison with Information Technologies in the design, testing and deployment of programs and processes within the current HRIS and other technical applications. Provides support to all functional areas of Human Resources, including performance management and merit processes. Supports government compliance regulations for compensation, benefits, & EEO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides expertise in design, development, testing, and implementation of new or modified human resource information applications and/or integrations with other technology
  • Provides guidance and serves as the key liaison between Human Resources, Information Technology, and other business areas to ensure effective integration of HR systems and other business applications
  • Design and maintain reporting metrics for all HR compliance requirements
  • Collects analyzes and provides summary reporting necessary to develop dashboards for the HR team to assist in monitoring and measuring HR activities and key initiatives
  • Provides summary reports and dashboards for leaders throughout the organization
  • Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets and provides to appropriate stakeholders
  • Other related duties as assigned

Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Accounting or equivalent work experience. PHR/SPHR/SHRM certifications a plus.

Required Experience:

  • Three years progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, including high proficiency with UltiPro with both payroll and reporting analytics
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements as they apply to Human Resources: policies and programs as well as a high degree of technical expertise, including the application of systems analysis and design, programming skills and problem-solving techniques
  • Must have extensive knowledge of common office applications software
  • Mathematical aptitude, strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of employees, including senior management.
