Crate Builder 

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Verify they are using the correct lumber for the crate being built 

·         Inspect lumber

·         Use hand and power tools proficiently and safely

·         Assemble panels and crates

·         Cut lumber to the desired dimension 

·         Be willing to become forklift certified

·         Prepares lumber for assembly 

·         Cut foam to desired dimensions

·         Willingness to adhere to proper safety protocols 

·         Some warehouse functions are required like offloading a semi and use of a pallet jack

·         Ability to understand and execute written build instructions/blueprints for crates

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         Knowledge and experience with nail guns, screw guns, miter saws, measuring tape, panel saw, table saw, angle grinder etc.

·         Basic organization skills would be preferred but not required. Basic computer skills may be needed.

Education and Experience:

·         Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

·         Minimum 1-2 years of carpentry, maintenance, or construction experience

Physical Requirements:

·         Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
