Human Resource Business Partner
Supports recruitment effort for exempt and non-exempt employees; writes and places advertisements, conducts interviews and partners with the hiring managers on hiring decisions, extends employment offers and conducts new-employee orientations.
Communicates with the management team in areas of performance management, employee reviews, compensation recommendations, and disciplinary documentation;
Counsel managers, supervisors, and employees in resolving employee relations issues
Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Assists in organizational development and training efforts
Conducts exit interviews as needed.
Handles benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees.
Maintain compliance to Federal and State regulations.
Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars.
Performs other HR related duties and responsibilities as required.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to drive cultural change to a high performing work organization in support of the employee base at four manufacturing facilities.
Ability to think strategically while managing various HR projects and tasks at all levels.
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to handle all facets of the Human Resources function.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Organizational Development, Business or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of HR generalist work, with a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of State and Federal Law.
Excellent written/verbal/listening skills.
PHR/SPHR certification and bilingual ability preferred.
