Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement new instances of Armorpoint and configure for best-practices.
  • Manage inbound and outbound security rules for email (filtering, spam, etc.).
  • Configure threat intelligence data feeds to provide identification of additional phishing/malware instances.
  • Perform security event triage and initial incident response to detected threats.
  • Regularly review and recommend changes to policies or controls as needed to enhance security.
  • Communicate and enforce Information Security policies.
  • Coordinate with other team members and management to investigate, document, and report incidents .
  • Create and maintain documentation for changes and procedures.
  • Configure threat intelligence.
  • Set and oversee security policies and controls.
  • Complete documentation of security system.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Advanced Threat Protection/Email Protection platforms including: Email Fraud Defense, Threat Response Auto-Pull, Targeted Attack Protection, Threat Response, Emerging Threats Intelligence, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Encryption.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to mentor/train staff and bring awareness to current and emerging threats.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

Education and Experience

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related discipline or equivalent experience, or over five years’ experience
  • 3-5 years of professional work experience in the cybersecurity industry
